The Sealy Support Firm mattress uses a method called hand-tufting. This traditional method of upholstery uses the skill of the artisan to hand-secure the mattress fillings in place so that they don’t move around, which could result in uncomfortable lumps and bumps forming over time. All of the tufts are positioned by hand, running right through the mattress to secure all the loose fillings for the ultimate finish.
