This is a single-sided mattress so there’s no need to flip or turn it, but we do suggest that to avoid lumps or dips from forming the mattress is rotated from head-to-toe every six months.

Although they each form part of a complex and carefully designed matrix, the 1000 springs in the Sark mattress sit in their own individual pockets, so they can also work independently of their neighbours. That allows each spring to respond to every micro-movement you make, continually adjusting and correcting to accommodate your body and provide it with flawless support. The additional layers surrounding this core spring matrix provide extra padding and cushioning.
Smart fibres create a smarter mattress
As well as a complex spring core, the Sark mattress from Sealy also incorporates some clever modern fibres to minimise moisture and eliminate allergens, creating a healthier environment. The quilted cover is created by stitching the mattress cover and the fillings together, creating a patterned comfort quilt layer.
The mattress has reinforced edges, so that the full sleep surface can be used. This means more sleeping space – which is usually lost in conventional, less edge-stable mattresses.
Vents which allow air to flow in and out of the mattress are mounted on the sides. These vents help to keep the air within fresh and cool.
A single-sided mattress which does not need to be turned/flipped. One-sided mattresses should, however, be rotated head to toe regularly.
Individual personal sleeping zones mean that you won’t be disturbed if your partner rolls or moves, as you won’t feel their motion. There’s also no tendency to roll towards the middle of the mattress.
