Two types of spring
A hybrid in every sense of the word, the Octasmart Premium Hybrid Mattress uses two types of spring. Pocket springs offer superb and responsive support, ensuring that the spine is kept in alignment and motion transfer is kept to an absolute minimum. With each spring housed in its own fabric pocket, they’re free to move independently of one another, offering bespoke and tailored support. However, this mattress also uses Octasprings® to further the levels of support. Made from memory foam, these lattice-like coils are fully breathable and just as responsive as their metal cousins. The Octasprings® are individually nested in five areas of the mattress, each smart zone offering its own degree of firmness. By providing extra support to heavier parts of the body, such as the shoulders and hips, the spine can achieve its natural curve. Not only does this ensure that the whole body is correctly cushioned, but it also helps to create the perfect sleep environment.
The Octavent™ Air System
The Octavent™ Air System holds the secret to keeping at the optimum temperature for sleep, even when the weather is at its warmest. The system actively breathes in cool, dry air into the mattress and expels air that’s become warm and humid due to moisture and body temperature. As a result, the Octasmart Premium Hybrid Mattress is eight times more breathable than others and can reduce the temperature of your bed by up to 3°C.

Ecocell® has been especially developed to guarantee point adaptable support and remain permanently elastic. A three-dimensional cellular structure allows the material to breathe. While you sleep, the elasticity of Ecocell® foam reduces the painful pressure points that can sometimes cause you to toss and turn during the night.
Aerocell® Foam is an innovative open cell foam which provides gentle pressure relief, medium to firm support and outstanding ventilation, ensuring that you wake up feeling reinvigorated and refreshed even when the mercuries rising.
