The Millbrook Elegance Classic has been created for those who want a medium level of support but all the comfort associated with Millbrook mattresses. Each Millbrook Elegance Classic contains up to 1,000 pocket springs, well-known for their ability to intuitively respond to changes in weight and pressure. With each spring sewn into its own fabric housing, they are free to react to these changes individually, offering tailored support for the body and spine. To prevent sagging and ‘roll off,’ these are further reinforced by two rows of firmer pocket springs. These line the sides of the mattress, ensuring the edges remain firm and helping to minimise the transfer of motion between sleepers.
Superior side-stitching
For extra support at the edges and to prevent ‘roll out,’ the Millbrook Elegance Classic sports two rows of side-stitching. Durable twine is threaded onto long needles, which highly-skilled seamstresses then use to incorporate this crucial element. Side-stitching of this sort is a traditional technique used to keep the cotton fibres in alignment and further reinforce the sides of the mattress. Integral to the mattress’ design, this side-stitching also helps it maintain its shape and firmness throughout its lifetime.
No compromise on comfort
The Millbrook Elegance Classic is filled with natural cotton fibres. Their structure allows them to absorb up to 20% of their weight in moisture before moving it away from the sleeper. Cotton is also supremely breathable, allowing any moisture, such as sweat, to be dissipated into the air. This makes this mattress the ideal choice for those who ‘sleep hot,’ helping them to feel fresh throughout the night while keeping cooler sleepers at their perfect temperature. To further that feeling of sheer indulgence, the mattress is wrapped in a layer of sumptuous Egyptian Cotton. Super-soft, this layer has tightly woven fibres that are more durable than other types of cotton. However, while the weave ensures its longevity, Egyptian Cotton is also a breathable fabric, creating a natural onboard climate control system to provide the perfect conditions for premium quality sleep.

A single-sided mattress which does not need to be turned/flipped. One-sided mattresses should, however, be rotated head to toe regularly.
Individual personal sleeping zones mean that you won’t be disturbed if your partner rolls or moves, as you won’t feel their motion. There’s also no tendency to roll towards the middle of the mattress.
Flag-stitched handles are attached to the sides of the mattress to assist in turning or rotating.
This mattress has been hand stitched on the borders, which creates a firmer edge on pocket sprung mattresses. This is a very expensive process, only done on top quality mattresses.
Tufts help to secure the luxury fillings in place, helping the mattress retain it’s fullness and plumpness over time.
