Pocket springs are at the core of our designs and our beds. The king-size Millbrook Noble Luxury uses up to 6,000 pocket springs for the ultimate in sensitive support. Each spring is sewn into a fabric pocket, allowing it to move and react independently of its neighbours. To further the levels of comfort and cushioning, 5,000 of these responsive springs are smaller than their coiled counterparts, ensuring that even the smallest of movements is properly supported. The remaining 1,000 full-size pocket springs act as the foundation on which the sleeper’s weight is dissipated through the mattress. To ensure everything remains aligned, they are supported by the unique Millbrook zonal edge system, which comprises two rows of firmer springs around the edges.

Filled with Fine English Cotton and Hampshire Wool, the Millbrook Noble Luxury is one of the most comfortable mattresses on the market. For softer mattresses that are less well-constructed, the danger is that couples sharing the bed can roll together. The Millbrook Noble Luxury has been engineered to ensure that there is no sagging in the middle, preventing unwanted nocturnal couple crashes. While the pocket springs help minimise motion transfer, the fillers also act as a buffer, keeping each sleeper in their own half of the bed – unless they choose otherwise! In addition, the fillers work as an in-bed climate control system, helping to keep the bed at the ideal temperature for quality sleep, whether the mercury’s climbing high or plummeting to the lower depths.

A double-sided mattress, both sleeping surfaces are supported by soft and supportive natural fillers before being wrapped in a layer of sumptuous viscose cotton. The mattress has fillings on both sides. Double-sided mattresses need to be turned regularly to keep them in good condition.
This mattress has been hand stitched on the borders, which creates a firmer edge on pocket sprung mattresses. This is a very expensive process, only done on top quality mattresses.
Tufts help to secure the luxury fillings in place, helping the mattress retain it’s fullness and plumpness over time.
