This mattress is made up of four layers:

• Layer 1 - Cover - this is a removable and washable material. As it's elasticated, it easily comes off then snaps back into place.
• Layer 2 - Comfort - the material here responds quickly to pressure and gentle firmness being placed on it. It also features an open cell design which helps the warmth to break apart and disappear, helping to keep you cool.
• Layer 3 - Contour - this thin layer of memory foam has a slower response to firmness being placed onto it. This part of the mattress usually gets warm, but with the open cell design layer above, it helps it to remain cool.

The Emma mattress comes in two varieties - there is the Emma Original and the Emma Premium. The sizes range from - Single, Small Double, Double, King Size and Super King Size. 3. How to Unpack an Emma Mattress

Once your Emma mattress has been delivered to your door, it's time to get it set up and looking fabulous in your bedroom, just follow these short and simple steps.

First, remove the mattress from its box packaging, lay it flat on the floor and roll it all out. To unwrap it, you'll need to grab the pair of cutters included in the box, and use them to cut out the plastic wrapping.

4. Do Emma Mattresses come rolled up?

Yes, Emma mattresses are cleverly packaged in an easy-to-move cardboard box. We use a special vacuuming process to gently compress and roll your mattress, so even the largest mattress can fit inside. This space-saving method is kinder to the environment, taking up less space on our delivery trucks and allowing us to transport more in one go, but it also means we're able to get the mattresses to you much quicker.

5. How long does it take for an Emma Mattress to inflate?

Emma mattresses are cleverly packaged in an easy-to-move cardboard box. We use a special vacuuming process to gently compress and roll your mattress, so even the largest mattress can fit inside. This space-saving method is kinder to the environment and takes up less space on our delivery trucks. The Emma mattress takes up to 2-6 hours to fully inflate. Please also note it is not entirely uncommon for the mattress to take longer to inflate to its full size. Although it is rare what can sometimes happen is that the mattresses are vacuum packed slightly tighter which just leads to a little more time for the full inflation to take place. Although they should reach 90%-95% of the desired depth within 48 hours, it may take an extra couple of days for them to reach the optimal height.

6. Can I wash an Emma Mattress cover?

Most people spend a third of their lives in bed so it is important to keep your mattress clean and fresh. The cover is removable and very easy to clean. You just open the zip and separate the top from the bottom part. It can be washed at 60°C. Small stains can be easily removed with warm and gentle detergent. The special breathability and open-cell structure of the core materials provide a self-contained ventilation system, keeping the mattress aerated and clean.

7. Can I sleep on my Emma Mattress straight away?

Yes, you can. Once you receive your Emma Mattress, all you have to do is remove the mattress from the box, unroll the mattress onto a flat surface, and remove the packaging. The mattress only needs a few hours to expand. After it expands to its full size, it is ready to be slept on.

8. Can you use an electric blanket with an Emma Mattress?

9. How to clean an Emma Mattress?
