Millbrook mattresses put pocket springs at the core of the design process. Each spring is individually sewn into its own fabric pocket, allowing for autonomous movement. As a result, the support offered by the Millbrook Prime Ortho Bronze reacts to the weight and pressure exerted by each sleeper. This ensures perfect spinal alignment for those who sleep on their backs and, for those who prefer to sleep on their sides, more comfort on the pressure points, such as the shoulders, elbows, and knees. In addition, you’ll find two additional rows of firmer pocket springs at the edges of the mattress. These help prevent ‘roll-off’ and sagging and minimise the transfer of motion between sleepers.
Traditional techniques
Side-stitching is an essential part of any mattress, and the Millbrook Prime Ortho Bronze boasts hand-stitched twine on both the top and bottom of its borders. This creates a firmer edge to the mattress, but it also helps to prevent ‘roll out.’ Stitching by hand is a time-consuming and labour-intensive process only applied to the highest-quality mattresses.

The Millbrook Prime Ortho Bronze sports a luxurious viscose cover, offering superb breathability and moisture-wicking properties. To further enhance the sleeping experience, the mattress is finished in Egyptian Cotton. Super-soft and chemical-free, this Egyptian Cotton is hand-tufted to provide an even and sumptuous sleeping surface.
